Motorbikes

I discovered motorbikes when I was about 15. A little gang of us thrashed an old 50cc scooter round the fields behind where I lived. 

At 16 I was on the road. In 1968 shipment of motorbikes was stranded at the local train station sidings for 2 years as the Italian company had gone bankrupt. Eventually they were all auctioned off and my uncle bought several, selling one to me for £5. This was a Parilla 99cc, single cylinder 4 stroke. 

I fell instantly in love.
